ToySoup is back for another podcast with special musical guest Ben Briton! Ben performers music all over the valley and also is a regular performer with the improv troupe Quick Wits.
We met Ben years ago at a drunk party and we have had a crush on him ever since. Seriously he is swoony. I don’t think that is a real word but I still like it.
We had a great time trying to keep up with his impromptu singing and he joined us for some messed up scenes.
There was intergalactic sex, plenty of cowboys, and of course who could forget the boa constrictor who gives amazing head. I can’t….
So join us, or have a listen, or however this podcast thing works.
Thanks for tuning into another episode of Stupid Questions with Jason Harvey. Sorry for the long recess of episodes, but I’m returning with a great episode for you! Recently Seattle comedian Derek Sheen was in town we sat down and shot the shit for a little over a half hour.
Derek is one of my favorite stand up comedians, He’s a great guy!
Derek’s Bio and where you can find him online and onstage:
Sheen is a cuddly mess of insecurities, a gifted, one of a kind, storyteller. He’s quickly becoming a favorite among comedy fans all over the globe! He’s toured with Patton Oswalt, Brian Posehn, Janeane Garofolo and Rory Scovel! His debut album “Holy Drivel” was recorded by iconic metal producer Matt Bayles (Minus the Bear, Mastodon, Isis) and is available fromRooftopcomedy.com.
NEW ALBUM is coming soon from Stand Up! Records.“Dylan Gadino at Laughspin Magazine: “Equal parts-playful-and-absurd approach to self-deprecating comedy.”Comedy-Reviews.com: ”With Sheen, you never quite know what’s around the corner and that’s a good thing. He has a passion that is reminiscent of Lewis Black and his references will keep you on your toes.”
Daniel Berkowitz of TheSpitTake-Comedynews.org: “When Sheen’s at his best, he’s firing everything off with nuanced diction and rhythmical precision. He develops a Carlin-esque pace to his speech that only serves to amplify the already-high level of laughs.”

In the first ever episode of ToySoup’s Black Box, hero and lover of all things improv the incredibly talented Calvin Dittmore is forced to do scenes with us.
We promised him weed, but we lied. In fact all of us had to do this podcast stone cold sober. It was literal bullshit. But still we managed to do some scenes about an uncontrollable nipple that that comes to life, a ‘Boosh ball,’ and much more weirdness.
We found out that Troy kicks ass making sound effects, Calvin isn’t bad, and Andrew sucks. Also Andrew is old and scared of technology!
