With the election right around the corner and the reality of a Hillary Clinton’s presidency becoming more and more likely every day, we wanted to take a look back at all of the scandals, controversies, conspiracies and general shady behavior that has surrounded the Clintons’ throughout their controversial rise to power.
With a list that includes alleged body counts, drug smuggling operations, real estate scams, fund raising scandals, dead friends and their many “gates”, not to mention the recent turmoil: Like the Benghazi incident, her deleted emails and the controversy that surrounds the Clinton Foundation.
We do our best to give you a rundown on the terms you might be hearing and should understand and the history you should know about.
We’re back! Jeez, sorry everyone. It’s been a minute since our last episode and a lot of things have happened since we last recorded, so this week, we’re examining some of the weirdest news stories from the last few weeks, which includes everything from dead UFO researchers to wind sickness, as well as looking back at the history of our favorite holiday, Halloween!
If you’ve never listened to the People’s Podshow this would be a good time to start!
This week, we had the extreme pleasure of hosting Lex Scott, founder of Utah’s preeminent social justice group, the United Front. We briefly discuss their history, what they are doing currently, and what they plan on doing in the future. We were joined by the U.F.’s president, Angela Reed, a short while into the interview (by phone). She shared her insightful views on economics, education and unity as well.
Do you want to know the difference between #blacklivesmatter and the United Front? Do you want to know/discuss why black nationalism is important? Would you like to know how you can join the United Front and other organizations aimed at making the valley (and the world) a better place? Tune in to find out and/or follow the links below!
Ol’ Ute Radio opens with Johnny McKeon and Sascha Blume on the Microphone. No guest this week as Sascha Blume tears into the unprofessionalism in the workplace at one of the prominent media companies that employs him. Johnny McKeon opens up about the wear-and-tear of a toxic work environment, focusing on the toll that media jobs take on their employees.
Wayne Thompson Jr. joins the show late and persuades Sascha to come clean about a prank he played on Wayne earlier. Wayne talks about the current political election and how it’s generating fantastic material for the late night television show, Saturday Night Live. Johnny talks about the difficulty of finding an adequate Halloween costume for interracial couples.
The conversation leads to Utah sports teams. The show ends discussing OUR previous radio interviews and the debate between asking the hard questions and taking it easy on guests regarding sensitive and personal topics.
In our 25th episode, we take a look back at our favorite episodes and answer questions from our listeners. We received some great questions and we had a blast answering things like how we met, what’s our favorite conspiracy theory is, which crazy thing do we believe the most, it was a lot of fun.
Thanks to all of you for listening and for keeping your minds open.
Kenneth Scott joins Brittany Johnson & Sascha Blume on Ol’ Ute Radio for the second time.
Scott talks about what he’s been up to since graduating from Utah. Right now he is enjoying some much-deserved time off, while staying in shape and getting his body ready for the next chapter of his life.
In addition to catching up with Scott, we talk about Pac-12 football and what the future of the conference looks like. Scott gives his opinion on which teams are dominant in the conference and whom he thinks will come out on top.
Scott didn’t just drop some football knowledge on us. He also entertained us with funny stories from his time at the U, the knowledge and inspiration his father instills in him (seriously the funniest story behind this…you’ve got to listen), and the interview ends on a more serious note with his take on the Colin Kaepernick!

In November 2007, a British girl named Meredith Kercher was found murdered in a small town in Italy. The media circus that ensued fascinated the entire world and the prime suspect, her roommate, American Amanda Knox, became a household name.
Now, almost 10 years later, we look back on the crime, the theories, the evidence and the outcome and come to our own conclusions. We also discuss the mysterious 2014 disappearance and death of a local girl named Kayelyn Louder, the strange CCTV footage and 911 calls she left behind and our firsthand account of walking the scene ourselves.
This week, we’re thrilled to welcome a very special guest, the man, the myth, Vapesquatch!
That’s right, the wait is over. We found him. He’s real. And he’s actually a really cool dude who, lucky for us, has a sense of humor.
In this amazing Dirtpod exclusive, we sit down with the man behind the legend to find out the truth behind the sightings, the outfit and the phenomenon. We also talk about the many concerts he’s been to, why he goes to so many and what he thinks about his accidental fame. You don’t want to miss this episode.
Ladies and gentlemen, Vapesquatch!
